August

I can't believe that August is already here. My summer went by so FAST!!! It has been a super crazy summer. I was told the day aftter school got out that I would be able to stay at Tiebreaker as a teacher, but I would have to move up to 3rd grade. I was actually really excited since I student taught in 3rd grade I feel like I will already be a little more familiar with some of the things they are learning and doing. I have been working in my classroom a lot this summer trying to get it all organized and add "my touch" to it. I have had an enormous amount of support in getting my room ready. One of the teachers from the school came and helped me clean it out a few days, Crystal has been a huge help in coming and helping me organize and clean it, my mom has been making cute things to put up in my room or on my desk, and a very sweet lady from the ward gave me all of her fabric and borders to use for my bulletin boards. My room looks completely different, but it still needs lots of work good thing I still have two more days next week before I have to have it officially put together. ;)

Besides doing all of that Tyler and I have had the opportunity to have a little bit of fun this month. We were able to go to the rodeo and enjoy some good old cowboy fun.

Crystal and I after the rodeo. The boys
thought we were crazy, but you can't go to
a rodeo without your hat. ;)

I also went to my first ever baseball game that wasn't church softball or little league. We went to an Idaho Falls Chukars baseball game. Not gonna lie it wasn't exactlly what I was expecting, but still fun. I think I am more of a football and basketball kind of girl. Just a little bit more action. ;)
Don't worry I don't pictures for a living.

Our peas in the garden have been growing way too fast and I hadn't been out to pick them in a while, so when I did we had a HUGE bowl full. My least favorite thing to do is probably take the peas out of their pods. I jokingly told Tyler that if he wanted any of those peas for dinner that he needed to take them out of their pods. Well, I turn around and someone was sitting on the couch and taking all of the peas out of the pods. I didn't expect it to last more than 3 minutes. I thought the "FUN" wouldn't last long, but he stuck with it and did the whole bowl. They were super YUMMY!!!
I managed to sneak a picture! ;)

Changes over a year

I can't believe that we have been in our home and Idaho for a whole year already. There has been lots of changes that have happened since we moved in. Take a look :)

Month of July

July came and went pretty fast. We spent the 4th of July with the Butterworth's and were lucky enough to have Travis and Brandi here for a few days. The 3 married couples went and played some mini golf and went out to eat. It was so fun to be able to hang out with each other because that doesn't happen very often. I went on a mini vacation to visit my parents while Tyler was putting in some long working hours and it just happened to be over Oakley's big celebration, so that was fun. Other than that we didn't do a whole lot around here.

Jemma playing in the bounce house at the park. We couldn't get her out of there.

Yes, that is her all the way at the top. She loved it the first time
but didn't quite enjoy it the next time.
