Weekend in Oakley!

Tyler and I came to Oakley this weekend. Friday night was Travis's last football game as an Oakley Hornet. They won and he played so amazing. He had four touchdowns. Sadly I don't have any pictures because my dad has them and I was running the camera for him while him and my mom took their last baby out on the field. Its so crazy to think that my parents are going to not have any kids in school come May.
On Saturday we had a family party for mine and Travis's birthdays. Of course it was Halloween and so all the lil kids dressed up. They all looked so cute. It was great to see some family that I haven't seen for a while.

Jemma didn't like her Halloween costume very much tonight. She was really hot, so she jsut SCREAMED!

Trying to get all the great-grandkids to smile for one picture didn't
work out so swell.! But this was probably the best one.

Once Jemma got out of her costume and had the Mtn. Dew bottle
in her hand she was happy.
Just like her Daddy!! :)

How It All Started...

Tyler and Tashie's paths crossed one September day,
while golfing on the Birch Creek Fairway.
Tashie was with another date,
I guess you could have called it fate.
Tashie's date and Tyler were good friends,
And this is where their story begins.
At first glance Tashie thought Tyler was a catch,
Perhaps they could make a perfect match?
Now on hold number fourteen
Is where things got really mean.
In some trees, Tashie was trying to get out,
She hit the golf ball, and then heard a shout.
She had hit the ball, it hit the cart, and then bounced off a tree,
It then struck Tyler's arm blatantly.
At that moment Tash felt like she could have ran away,
Too darn bad she had four holes left to play.
After the game was over,
Tyler came over and showed Tashie his shoulder.
It had already begun to turn black and blue,
Tashie felt sick, like she had the flu.
Tyler then asked the other two to dinner,
He must have already thought Tashie was a winner.
Tash was embarrassed, so of course she said no.
Why the heck would she want to go?
A few days later Tash received a text,
It was Tyler, he wanted to know when he could see her next.
On September Nineteenth was their first official date.
Tash was so excited, she could hardly wait.
Dinner at Firehouse and the demolition derby,
The night was so fun, it went by in a hurry.
The two hit it off and continued to date after that night,
After two months they new it felt right.
The proposal took place on the Twentieth of December.
It will be a day the two will forever remember.
Fiver months later, now it's May,
Who would have thought they'd be getting married today?
And what do you know, all this love had begun,
With a lovely game of hit and run.
